By the time your Cilindro has been burning for an hour, the chimney pipe running through your sauna is hot enough to do real work. The Harvia Cilindro Water Heater mounts directly onto that flue and puts that heat to use — 25 litres of water warming steadily while you’re in the session, without burning an extra log or running a separate appliance. The stainless steel barrel wraps around the chimney pipe so the flue itself becomes one wall of the water tank, which is why it heats quickly. A separate tap on a 2-metre hose keeps you well away from the stove when you draw water — mount it at bench height, on the wall, or under the ceiling, wherever works for your room. The front of the water heater holds an additional 19 kilograms of smaller stones, adding thermal mass to the pillar and producing more steam when you ladle water over them. Designed specifically for the Cilindro 16 and Cilindro 20, it matches the heater’s stainless steel profile and fits as though it was always part of the design — because it was.
