Terms & conditions
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Sauna Shop Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number [Company number], registered office [Registered office address — to be supplied by Sauna Shop Ltd], VAT number [VAT number]. "We", "us" and "our" mean Sauna Shop Ltd. You can contact us at sales@saunashopltd.co.uk or on [Phone number — to be supplied].
2. These terms
These terms apply to every order you place with us through saunashopltd.co.uk. By placing an order you agree to them. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. If you are buying as a business, separate terms may apply; ask us.
3. Placing an order
Your order is an offer to buy. We acknowledge it by email, but a contract is only formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation (or, for made-to-order goods, a written order acceptance). We may decline an order, for example if an item is unavailable, a price was obviously wrong, or we cannot deliver to your address; in that case we refund any payment in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate where applicable. Delivery is charged separately as set out in our shipping policy and shown before you confirm. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (to be confirmed by Sauna Shop Ltd). Payment is taken when you place the order. If a pricing error is obvious and could reasonably have been recognised as such, we are not obliged to supply at the wrong price.
5. Delivery
Delivery times, charges and the kerbside nature of pallet deliveries are set out in the shipping policy. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave; ownership passes when we have received payment in full. If you ask us to leave goods without a signature, they are left at your risk.
6. Your right to cancel (14 days)
You may cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason, as described in the returns policy. Refunds are processed within 7 working days of receiving the goods back. Custom-made and made-to-measure goods are excluded from the right to cancel once production has started, which we confirm before accepting such orders.
Model cancellation form
To Sauna Shop Ltd, [Registered office address — to be supplied by Sauna Shop Ltd], sales@saunashopltd.co.uk: I/We hereby give notice that I/We cancel my/our contract of sale of the following goods: [description], ordered on [date] / received on [date]. Name of consumer(s), address of consumer(s), signature (if sent on paper), date.
7. Faulty goods and warranty
We are under a legal duty to supply goods that conform with the contract. Your remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are summarised in the returns policy. Manufacturer warranties are provided in addition and their terms are supplied with the product. Warranties do not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, use outside the manufacturer's instructions, or electrical work not carried out by a qualified person.
8. Installation and safety
Sauna heaters, steam generators and electrical controls must be installed by a suitably qualified electrician in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, BS 7671 and Building Regulations Part P. Wood-burning stoves must be installed in line with HETAS guidance and Building Regulations Part J. We can recommend installers but we are not responsible for installation unless we have agreed to carry it out in writing.
9. Product information
We take care to describe products accurately. Dimensions are nominal, timber is a natural material and colours vary between screens. Images may show optional accessories. If a detail matters to you, ask before ordering.
10. Our liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. We are not liable for business losses where you buy as a consumer.
11. Events outside our control
If delivery is delayed by an event outside our reasonable control we will contact you as soon as possible and the time for performance is extended. If the delay is substantial you may cancel and receive a full refund for goods not delivered.
12. Privacy
We use your personal data as set out in our privacy policy.
13. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first; most problems are resolved quickly. Alternative dispute resolution is available through providers approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute, and you may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform where applicable. These terms are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, or those of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you order applies to that order.
